Today I have the opportunity to highlight a talented modder Peter Persson, who has recently completed his personal rig named “Black Gold”.

Peter had recently sold his modded PC which was called “Project Black and Red”, but he had itchy fingers and felt the need to take on another project 😉 This time he wanted something a little larger, so he decided to go with the Cooler Master Master Case 5.

While looking around for inspiration, he came across the Bitspower True Brass reservoir, and was totally sold on the gold colour, so he decided to go ahead with a black and gold theme, hence the name of the project.

Peter could not really decide which components to use though, so he ended up burning a hole through his wallet and splashed out on the best enthusiast parts that money could buy. Those parts consist of:

PC:
Chassi: Cooler Master Mastercase 5 pro
PSU: Corsair AX 860i
MB: Asus Rampage V Extreme
CPU: Intel Core i7-5960X
GPU: 2x Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti Strix Gaming DirectCU III OC (SLI)
RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum DDR4 PC21300/2666MHz CL15 4x4GB
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB
Fläktar: 5x Fractal Design Venturi HP-12 PWM 120mm
SLI-brygga: Nvidia 2-way spaced SLI bridge
Belysning: Darkside led

Water cooling:
CPU: EK-FB ASUS R5E Monoblock
GPU: 2x EK-FC980 GTX Ti Strix – Acetal+Nickel
Pump: D5 + Bitspower modkit, pumptop
Res: Bitspower Water Tank Z-Multi 200 – True Brass
Radiatorer: Alphacool Nexxxos ST30 360 mm + 240 mm
Anslutningar: Bitspower true brass samt en del Ek och övrigt jag hade liggande
Rör: Bitspower Crystal Link Tube

I personally love this project as it looks simple, but it is very complex.. Kind of like it could have rolled off the factory floor like this. Well done Peter!
